From Paris with Love

From Paris with Love (2010)

Starring John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Directed by Pierre Morel. The screenplay was co-written by Luc Besson.

A good action movie with guns, fights, car chases, explosions, blood, drugs and a few laughs. That´s what you can expect when watching this movie.

James Reese (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), personal aide to the U.S. Ambassador in France teams up with Charlie Wax (John Travolta), unconventional American special agent, and together they chase terrorists in the French capital and to say they cause "some" commotion along the way is an understatement.

I enjoyed John Travolta in this movie, in a completely different and surprising new look, funny, good fight scenes, he played a very cool Charlie Wax.

Although still miles away from “Taken” (superb picture), “From Paris with Love” it has its similarities. The same director Rhys Meyers, takes us on a tour of the same city (Paris), from fight scene to fight scene, explosion to explosion with a few nice twists on the side.
However, in my opinion the end could be a bit better.

It’s a good movie that does what is expected of it, entertains you for one hour and thirty two minutes. Worth watching
